Welcome to the Pumpkin Holistics website, if you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions.
The term ‘Pumpkin Holistics’, ‘my’ or ‘I’ refers to the owner of the website. The term ‘you’ or ‘client’ refers to the user or viewer of this website.
Booking Policy
New and existing clients can book themselves in for an appointment using the booking form, which can be found at https://pumpkinholistics.co.uk/book/ A medical questionnaire is required to be completed upon the first visit.
Please inform me of any medical condition prior to booking as reflexology may not be suitable for you.
You cannot receive reflexology for the following:
- Current thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism
- On a course of antibiotics
Before undergoing reflexology, individuals with specific health conditions such as heart conditions, undiagnosed pain or other severe or rare medical conditions may be ask to seek medical advice from their GP or consultant.
Health requests of my clients as follows:
Please cancel/postpone your appointment if you have anything that may possibly be contagious, from sore throats, colds and flu, or infectious skin conditions e.g. shingles, verrucae, athlete’s foot or other fungal infections.
In return I will apply these high standards to myself. Should I feel unwell, or be unable to treat I will explain the situation to you as soon as possible before your treatment.
Arrival: Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment time as I could be completing a treatment with another client.
I reserve the right to refuse entry if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol or showing signs of contagious illness. In such circumstances my cancellation policy will apply.
Late arrivals: Please note that as a courtesy to all clients, a prompt appointment schedule is adhered to. Late arrival to your appointment may reduce the length of the treatment, but will still be charged at the full price.
Etiquette: To ensure your relaxation I request that your mobile phone is put on silent and not used during your treatment.
Personal safety & conduct: Pumpkin Holistics operates in a safe and respectful environment. There is zero tolerance for verbal or physical behaviour which I constitute as inappropriate, threatening, hostile or offensive. If any such behaviour is experienced, the appointment will end immediately and you will be expected to leave at once. In such cases there will be no refunds given and no further appointments will be accepted.
Medical disclaimer: Treatments conducted by Pumpkin Holistics are not a substitute for proper medical diagnosis and treatment. At no time will a client be encouraged to stop medical treatment or change their prescription drugs.
Please note, I cannot offer a diagnosis. Although it can help relieve symptoms, reflexology is a complementary form of therapy to help improve your overall sense of well-being. It does not replace traditional medicine and does not provide a ‘cure’ to any condition. Please contact your GP or consultant if you require a diagnosis, or have any medical questions or concerns.
If you have rescue medication such as an EpiPen you will be required to complete a Medical Emergency Plan as part of the consultation on your first appointment.
Accessibility limitations: My treatment room is located on the first floor requiring you to climb stairs.
Equipment limitations: My treatment bed has a working weight capacity of 133kgs/21 stone.
Cancellation policy
Please notify me as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Contact details at the end of this page.
Less than 24 hours notice may result in a fair-use fee of 50% of my usual treatment cost. This fee will be required to be settled prior to any future bookings.
Payment
I accept payment by BACS or cash. Payment can be made in person on the day in full prior to the treatment starting. BACS can be made prior to appointment day if preferred. I reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without notice.
If you have a health cash plan or private health insurance (e.g. BHSF or Bupa) , full payment is still required on the day of your appointment. A PDF receipt will be emailed to you after your treatment to enable you to claim from your health insurer.
Comments and Complaints
Pumpkin Holistics strive to ensure that you always receive exceptional customer service, however if you wish to discuss any issues or offer any comments please email me at pumpkinholistics@gmail.com explaining as accurately as possible. Each case will be looked at individually and I aim to resolve any questions or issues promptly, but cannot guarantee a resolution.
General
Every effort is made to keep this website up and running smoothly, however Pumpkin Holistics take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for this website being temporarily unavailable.
Pumpkin Holistics reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and your continued use of this site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms.

This website – including all of its text, photographs, graphics and layout are protected by copyright law (all rights reserved) and may not be reproduced or distributed in any manner without the written permission of Pumpkin Holistics.
